IIHE Medical Instrumentation Group
The IIHE Medical Instrumentation Group is a part of the Inter-University Institute For High Energies and specialised in the development of new technology for medical imaging. More specific the group is involved in the development of new generation scanner based on the Positron Emmission principle applied to Tommography (PET) or Mammography (PEM)
The group conducts its research activities under the flag of the Crystal Clear Collaboration from which our director Prof. Stefaan Tavernier is the spokesperson.
