The aim is to apply multiple hypothesis testing methods to steady point sources search.
We will here optimise the method to maximise the detection power, while controling the
confidence level of an hypothetical discovery. This can be achieved thanks to a new statistical procedure
developped by J. Benjamini et al.,
the so called "False Discovery Rate" (FDR). The
interesting points are that the procedure is independent of any
hypothesis on the signal, and naturally takes into account the trial
factor.
